Igarape Institute

The Igarapé Institute is an independent think and do tank dedicated to integrating the agendas of climate, citizen and digital security and development. Our goal is to propose solutions and partnerships to global challenges through research, new technologies, policy influence, and communication. We are a non-profit, independent, and non-partisan institution based in Rio de Janeiro, but our work transcends local, national, and regional borders. Recognized as the best Human Rights NGO in 2018, the best think tank in social policy by Prospect Magazine in 2019, and considered by the Doar Institute, for the second consecutive year, as one of the top 100 Brazilian organizations in the third sector.
